SMARTELL
Cavity & Core: The "negative" shape of the syringe. The cavity forms the syringe’s outer surface (e.g., finger flange, barrel diameter), while the core creates the inner hollow channel (for liquid storage) and the plunger rod’s structure.
Hot Runner System: Prevents molten plastic from cooling prematurely in the mould’s feed channels. This ensures uniform material flow, reduces waste, and maintains consistent wall thickness (critical for syringe accuracy).
Ejection Mechanism: Uses ejector pins or sleeves to gently remove the finished syringe from the mould. Since syringes are thin-walled and fragile, the ejection force must be evenly distributed to avoid deformation.
Cooling System: A network of water channels around the cavity/core. It precisely controls the cooling rate of the plastic (e.g., PP ) to prevent warping and ensure dimensional stability.
